How to disable Firefox mixed content blocking (in one simple graphic)

Pertains to Firefox 23.0.1 and maybe later.
I was surprised this information was so hard to find, so hopefully this will make it easier for you.

At the company I work for we have an HTTP iframe inside an HTTPS web page. The new version of Firefox objects to this mixed content and forces the user to respond by clicking on a little shield icon in order to allow the mixed content. However Firefox does not "remember" this override, nor does it allow a "white list" of domains where you don't care about mixed content. You can however disable the checking entirely by changing these options shown in the graphic above. PLEASE do not do this unless you completely understand the security implications.

If this is what you were looking for, please leave a comment, just say Hi or something.

a HUGE THANKS!!! My school uses a HTTP iframe inside a HTTPS webpage too and it was annoying having to click on the security shield everytime I logged in to do my school work.

Hey,
if you only want to disable this feature for one domain, like 'sicencedirct.com' you have to create an entry named 'extension.http_everywhere.DOMAIN' and set this variable to true.

Anyone have an example of that? I would like to do that for just my domain.

Mike, I am a newbie on this kind of thing but I could follow your easy instructions. Unfortunately, I have Firefox 28 and it did not remove the blocking. Is there something further I must do? Thank you. Getting easy instructions is a lifeline.

Sorry bulleteyes. This is all I know.

I've had a few problems recently posting URLs and HTML code to forums - it doesn't seem to get there.
Could this be caused by Firefox also?

Needed a quick and dirty fix for this one; great temporary fix! Of course people shouldn't leave this setting off long-term, but for quick dev. work it was invaluable. Thanks!
